Summer Lessons 2022

Summer often gives us a little more time to try something new or to spend a little extra time on things we enjoy!

If you or your child have been thinking about taking piano or voice but aren’t sure you want to commit to a year of study, a nine-week program may be a perfect fit.

Lessons will be given on Thursdays beginning June 2 through July 28.

The cost for the Summer Session is $120.00. We are currently enrolling students. Deadline for registration is Thursday, May 26, 2022. There are limited lesson times available.

Please contact the studio for available times.

RECITALS

There will be two recitals held per year.  The tentative recital date for the fall session is Saturday, December 11, 2020, at 1:00 PM. Please mark your calendar for this important event.  Spring recital will be scheduled at a later time.

It is not a requirement to perform in the recital, but it is strongly suggested that all students participate.

All fees must be paid in full at the student’s first lesson of each month.  Checks should be made out to the instructor.

CANCELLATIONS

There will be no refunds or credits given for cancellations or missed lessons. If the student arrives at lessons and they are sick, the student will be dismissed. If the student arrives more than 10 minutes late for their lesson, the instructor reserves the right to cancel the lesson.

ILLNESS

If your child has a fever, vomiting, rash, sore throat, cough, and/or other contagious symptoms within 24 hours before class, please stay home and rest.   Your child must be symptom-free at least 24 hours before their scheduled lesson.

WEATHER

If winter road conditions make it impossible to get to the studio, we will notify students in the morning. Otherwise, use your best judgment when deciding to travel.

PREPARATION & MATERIALS

Students are expected to come to their lessons prepared. This will mean different things for each student. This will always include coming to lessons with all of their materials including assigned music and a pencil. In the rare case that a student leaves their music behind or does not complete the preparation asked, the instructor reserves the right to end the lesson early.

Parents:

There is a sitting area outside of the studio. You are welcome to sit there during your child’s lesson. Siblings are also welcome to sit in the sitting area. However, we ask that the noise level be kept as low as possible while lessons are taking place and that visitors keep to the sitting room area and do not wander through the rest of the house. There is also plenty of outside space for siblings to play. I ask that children stay out of the barn and other buildings on the property and must be under the direct supervision of parents at all times.

CONTACT INFORMATION

It is very important that we have updated contact information for each student. Please provide your instructor with an updated telephone number and an email address.
